The art of preparing a private event is very different to a corporate one. Our relationship with the customer feels more personal and needs to be more discreet.

Our experience of handling many private events for different people means that we can match the level of hands-on organising you need with your budget and the time you have available.

Examples of events we have organised:

A spring celebration of life for a customers mum who died in the harshest winter months

We discussed the outline of the day with the customer and established which aspects they wanted to do and which we were to do. We presented a sample menu and budget, which was discussed and agreed.

The customer organised the church service and guest list, while we organised the food and the outdoor layout. On the day, we set up the outdoor area, cooked the food and presented it and helped with drinks and collecting gifts from guests.

A garden party for 200 close friends and family

For this event, our services were required to organise the whole event. The brief was discussed and we put together a detailed proposal taking into consideration the customers vision of how the event would look and feel.

We sourced a cocktail bar and waiters, food stalls, lighting, waitresses, and light entertainment – all agreed with the customer beforehand.

The evening went swimmingly and we were on site from early afternoon insuring the area was set up correctly and the various suppliers arrived on time and followed the set schedule.

A Sixtieth Birthday party

For this event, we organised the venue and food and the customer organised the music and guest list. This whole event came together after a single phone call and several emails back and forth – it doesn’t always have to be a time consuming process to organise an event for 150 people!
